Obenauf’s Heavy Duty Leather Preservative is an industrial strength product made for protecting and preserving often expensive leather gear including boots for loggers. Great for Idaho, Washington and Oregon Loggers who are often working in wet, rainy conditions and need to make sure feet are dry.
Designed by long time fireman, Marv Obenauf, this product is ideal for long term protection of all kinds of leather (especially boots) used by fireman, loggers, lineman, electricians, plumbers, first responders, cattlemen, etc.. Obenauf’s Leather Preservative also works wonders on hard used backpacks, harnesses and other leather gear and other types of footwear items as well.
To apply Obenauf’s Heavy Duty Leather Preservative, place a small amount in your hands to warm it before applying to damp or dry leather. We recommend you apply twice to maximize protection. After application, use a hair dryer to accelerate the progress of oils penetrating into the leather fibers and pores. The resulting treated leather can be buffed to a shine, or polished over.
